Great lesson. I once read this statement and it has stayed with me: thoughts inform us, they should not control us. I have to remind myself of this often. Thank you again for your wonderful work!

Very eloquently and helpfully expressed. And yes, the intense heatwave (lots of that here in UK lately😩) I also find is often enough to steer one off course and give in to the emotions and associated micro-analysing!

Very interesting point about it being too easy to access and perhaps give too much space to our emotions. I come from a place that use to be the land of the Stiff Upper Lip. That caused a lot of repression and misery, but sometimes a little resolve in the lip area can give you strength to move on.

Needed this today . Going through long old anti depressant withdrawal , and when Drs tell you they don’t exist , I’m left examining every emotion and thought . For instance it’s baking hot her in Uk , and I feel tired and knackered , and instead of accepting this , there has to be something wrong . Maybe I should just stop looking and examining everything
