Drew,

Please keep on keeping on. I’ve only found you in the last 6 months or so. Have been powering through TAT podcasts. Love your no nonsense/no bullshit approach. Then signed up for the TAM…. Also love this “bite size” tidbit.

One bright spot to look forward to come Monday morning. Again, keep fighting the good fight and rock on with your bad self !!!

My politically correct view (lol) would be obviously you need to do what works for you best, what excites/motivates you - then you’re more likely to give a project or activity 100%, and not become bored/stale/ frustrated/meh etc… & thus we your listeners and appreciators will equally benefit 100% from your work.

On the other hand, my more selfish answer is, don’t change it up too much! For me, what makes TAM emails fantastic is ease of access and digestability (is that a word?) in this fast-paced life we live, and the fact we can do it on our own private terms/timescales. Snack-sized someone else described it as most adequately. The brevity & succinctness means I listen to it EVERY day, an encouraging boost to my daily week life (even if not every single episode relates exactly to my personal anxiety situation, but your underpinning messaging still reminds me I’m not alone in the journey and reiterates basic common sense). Even on busy mornings, I’ll always make a point to catch up and listen later in the day as it’s EASY, QUICK and EFFECTIVE. The 15 second fast-forward and rewind is great, I use it a lot, and whilst I generally listen, I imagine the ability to read the transcripts is very useful to others.

Also, there’s no public social media platform involved which is sort of a breath of fresh air, despite not being considered ‘modern cutting edge’ and possibly old school. I came off FB a few years ago, for good reason, and the only regret I now have (having more recently discovered that Anxiety recovery books/forums etc exist) is I can’t access The Anxious Truth FB community as it sounds like there’s a wealth of info/helpful peeps there, but I’m just not ready to re-open that door (ie. everything else that comes with a FB account) again quite yet. Instagram is the most I can currently do & which works well for me in accessing Drew’s podcasts, videos etc. So the daily emails are great for people like me who like community but also enjoy own space/boundaries. I love the wide-reaching variety of daily content, sometimes topical (eg. Will Smith incident - brilliant piece) and genuinely look foreword to listening every day.

Having said all the above… the resourcefulness, imagination and skill you’ve shown in writing your books, creating demonstration videos, support resources, weekly podcasts and daily TAM (+ all the other stuff on FB I’m prob. missing out on) tells us that you are full of creativity and naturally-flowing innovation, and thus we essentially trust you to ‘do your thing’, experiment if you have to, and mix it up as you think it best or most effective, for us and your known audience. I’m excited to hear what you do next, but equally content to stay with the already brilliant status-quo. Thanks for continuing to do what you do👍🏼

I have really enjoyed the Anxious Morning and enjoy it just the way it is. I prefer to read the emails (as opposed to listen) and look forward to them each week day morning. Thank you so much!

I love “the anxious morning”. I am on this scary journey and have felt so alone and unheard. Then I get an email every morning and read about the way out. The way to live again and it gives me hope. As you know some days are harder than others, but good days or bad I can read “the anxious morning” and find some guidance. Thank you so much for all you do.

Love the anxious morning!

I usually read and listen. Not everything pertains to my specific anxiety journey, but it always helps to get me in the correct mindset. And really helped me to remember I am on a journey and am not stuck in this anxiety disorder. I also appreciate it because I am from the NY area and it’s my cultural background. I work with a therapist from A Canadian website and it is excellent, but your approach does help give me that no nonsense approach I find relatable.

Interaction would be great if it was easy for you & easy for the listeners. I think it is fair to say we all want to be better and live our lives and maybe not even need the interaction at some point.
