Interesting and thought-provoking episode from Jenna, it’s a hugely complex condition. Drew, wondering if there’s any way you can include a ‘slow-down’ button? I love all the guest speakers but often they have a tendency to speak super-fast (possibly as they’re reading the content and are time-constrained for their pieces) - whilst I can see a ‘1.0x’ symbol on the right hand side on sub-stack which can be used to speed up the voice audio (1.25x etc - definitely not required usually!) I can’t see a slow-down equivalent on the left, unless I’m missing some functionality on my screen. Appreciate I can always refer back to the written narrative below, however most of the time I listen whilst doing other activities and find myself constantly using the re-wind button to listen to sections over and over. Not sure if others have this issue (or if I’m just a slow absorber, Aussie/British and all)😂
It is positive to read people being considered as unique with their own set of triggers. Nuanced. Rather than just bodies and brains that have learned the wrong messages with a certain reductionist view to be matched with a 'one for all' exposure programme. Thank you for showing that what we suffer from may not be 'special' but we are. And need to think how we can personally recover with adaptations to suit us put in place.
Thank you for having Jenna Overbaugh on the Anxious Morning! I love her. I feel that you and Jenna !get me. Great insight and information.
