To me Letting Go is not a passive act. It involves me trusting in myself, or perhaps more importantly, it involves trusting that passing through the immediate discomfort will lead to more long-lasting, long-term peace. Which it has, so now I have incentive to Let Go.

OMG! Letting go, with GAD ( when we control everything!!!)

It’s a huge Challenge, but it worth every second practicing it

Thank you Drew! Always. ✨🙏🏻✨

I wore my anxiety like a badge during my entire career. It helped me achieve so much but I was a wreck inside. Then I retired. I had nothing to be anxious about so I invented things. It lead me down a dark path of irrational fear. A fear of insanity and a fear of not being able to sleep. Then I read and listened to your piece on letting go about 6 months ago. It was hard to do at first and very horrifying but I kept at it. Slowly it went away. My fear is now only a faint echo. My anxiety came from trying to control it. By hanging on and fighting it made the lie seem much more real! That I was going crazy. It’s a lie. A complete falsehood!

I don’t know how to thank you Drew. Thanks to God and your willingness to share your story, I’m learning to live a life of calm for the first time.

Letting go. . . How many times have my husband, parents and siblings tell me just let it go. I am a work in progress and getting better each day. Realizing you can’t control things that are out of your control. So let go. Well said Drew

Letting go seems the most difficult thing to do after years of trying to hold everything together, but as I write this it seems to be the opposite that the holding in is more difficult than letting go. I shall really try the practice. Thanks Drew again.
