Having read ‘Seven Percent Slower’ last year I can say it’s one of the best, most useful (& applicable) books I’ve read. So much relevant content, for living with anxiety disorder as well as just living a happy life - something for absolutely everyone I’d say in this frenetic, mad modern life we live in. In fact once I finish my current book I’ll probably read it again just for reinforcement! Thanks for this little treasure of a life-enhancing (& changing) resource Drew🙏🏼

I do the same thing when I am excited about a project, so if it's anything that involves working with my hands, the results are not what I want them to be or way harder than they need to be. I need to remind myself to slow down!

Drew, I have spent my adult life rushing through it! Every task every appointment rush rush rush! I lived in Detroit for 23 years and as you know big city life increases that rush as well as anger, frustration and other negative emotions. No one ever told me to slow down not even therapists. It wasn’t until I read your book 7% slower that it made sense. Now I am mindful even when I don’t experience anxiety to go slow. Life is a journey not a race! Thank you and remember you ARE loved!

Hello Drew, I experienced the other day "Accidental Emergency Multitasking" when I was working. I was jiggling between 3 documents and I was not doing 1 thing at a time. The 3 documents where related but I did not do where to start. I could not follow any order with a feeling of NO-CONTROL. Being at that state for minutes is terrible. I am teaching myself to feel that uncertainty but just do one thing. This morning I tackled the same 3 documents one by one,

independently. It takes some planning to do just ONE THING. Even when doing Just ONE THING, you need to feel the Anxiety and UNCERTAINTY. You really feel bad when this happens. I love SeventPerCentSlower. Many thanks again. JUST ONE SLOW THING EVEN IF THERE IS UNCERTAINTY !! is it like this Drew?

I have lived a life thinking that was just the way I was. Running all the time, in my own brain, being efficient. 💪🏼🙏🏼

You're so right Drew. I'm learning to even slow my breathing down and it helps me to focus and calm down a lot
