Well I guess I better go buy a heart rate monitor....so I can toss it out. But yeah, like Carol I've been honed in on little sensations in my heart area the last few days..... Actually woke me up...then I googled 🤔😅😳😳😳, which I know for us is a bad idea. It's a new sensation so maybe I should get checked, but otherwise trying to keep my obsession in check. Yay!!!!

Thanks again Drew

It's odd that you should mention worrying about your heart rate today, because last night as I was lyng in bed reading, I felt a few twinges in my heart. Normally I would worry over that, but I let it go and nothing bad happened. I am definitely getting better about discerning what is important to worry about and what not.

I understand how challenging it might be for many to put the heart monitors, Apple watches and blood pressure cuffs down. It wasn’t until I stepped back from the podcasts, books and FB chats that my recovery began. I had to take my focus off of anxiety and symptoms for a bit in order to step toward recovery. Oh don’t get me wrong, I listen every morning because I love the reinforcement but I don’t rely on it to get me through my day like I did in the beginning. Also, I have been reading The Happiness Trap by Russ Harris ACT therapy and it was the additional push that I needed. It helps with many aspects in our lives not just anxiety and depression. Love you Big Guy!
