Excellent idea, I shall try this one out as it’s very easy to fall into the trap of thinking it’s all been for nothing after a very bad day. Though I would say for me (social anxiety disorder) it’s probably more about recording the things I DIDN’T do on a daily/routine basis (small but still worthy of acknowledgement) aa I think my recovery is more about changing micro-habits and behaviours rooted in core shame from childhood, which very often means proactively NOT doing certain actions/reactions, than things I’m actually doing. But hopefully the exact same principle as Drew describes here applies.
Great encouragement. Too often we do focus on the negative instead of the wins we’ve accomplished. We’re human. Since I have been listening to you for a few months I’ve seen where I too have fallen into that negative thinking trap. I never say I’m having a set back because I don’t view my anxiety as setbacks but times in my life where I need to pay attention and make adjustments to what’s going on in and around me. Love you Big Guy!
It's really weird you should talk about keeping a success journal today because I've been looking for a notepad I knew I had but couldn't find it till last night for me to write my success at walking unaided over the pavement that always used to freeze me. Now I can write it down I feel more encouraged to carry on improving. Thanks again Drew and by the way, I've been telling everyone else in the group when they share their success, to write it in their journal too.

I have a cherished moments journal where I list memories of great significance and how I am grateful to have experienced them. It helps immensely!!💕
