What is the right approach for the intense anxiety that comes up, as soon as i try to relax/ close my eyes/ take a nap? It became impossible for me to let myself sink into relaxation even when i am really exhausted.
Is an exposure required like: i stay with my eyes closed and let the symptoms be there for a certain amount of time? Like train it again?
I call this my softening. When things reach a peak I soften my body. My shoulders immediately drop. I become aware of where the tension is in my soma and allow it to take it for the team. It is there where I find relaxation. Then I get on with life!🙏🏻
Drew, what a great reminder! So many times I am caught up in daily life feeling the stress and anxiety creep in and not remembering to do this. Thank you. Love you Big Guy
Love this concept of stopping for micro-breaks, esp. on stressful, anxiety-triggered days, I shall def. give it a try, as well as for life in general!

Or should i get up, distract myself?
Thank you for your evaluation. 🙏🏻
