This one really hit me where I am right now. I don’t even remember what I love anymore. I’m so consumed with how I feel I have lost all sense of who I am. I can’t wait to read tomorrow. Doing what I love makes sense if only I knew what that was without feeling so dang sick and spaced out doing it, ugh. I truly want believe I will get better again and truly appreciate all of your messages to us . I know I am on the right path since finding you and this community… but I’m having trouble having faith in myself…

Drew your words are always spot on! There was a time a few months ago, I could not even imagined getting back to doing things that I love or feeling days of joy. Anxiety has a way of robbing you of the simplest pleasures you had without you realizing it. It wasn’t until I began to accept where anxiety took me, allowed myself to process and feel the emotions I desperately struggled against that the clouds began to part and little glimmers of joy and smiles returned. I find myself walking in nature speaking words of gratitude. Shopping in store browsing for novels to read or just sitting in the sun not doing a damn thing but being still with God and myself. It does come back. Has it ever really left or just buried under anxiety? Perhaps anxiety is like a garden, who we are gets buried under the soil and anxiety needs to be dealt with and pulled out by the roots exposing things in our lives we long neglected and need to sift through so ourselves can rise to the surface once again. Love you Big Guy

Oh Renay you give me hope. I want so badly to see me again and not all these ridiculous symptom filled days. Thanks for posting this.

That's good advice Drew, but what if you are not able to do what you used to?

Sometimes that happens. We have to accept that things change, our bodies change, we age, and life just changes. The challenge at times is coming to that acceptance so that we can start to explore our new reality for new things to love.

Stat a garden, that will get you out of the house and away from the screen. Grow some healthy food to eat. You'll settle down I'm sure of it.
